5.74 thousand tourists stay in the area of ​​the Kotor municipality, 28 percent more than in the same period last year, according to the latest data of the Tourist Organization (TO) Kotor.

There are 4.42 thousand guests staying in private accommodation, 1.19 thousand in hotels, 109 in hostels, and 27 in camps,” the representative of the local TO, Milena Radović said.

She specified that the majority of guests in private accommodation are from Serbia, Russia, Turkey, Great Britain and Germany.

The hotels have, as before, the most numerous guests from the countries of Western Europe, such as Great Britain, Germany, France, and Spain, but also from the United States of America (USA), Russia, Israel, Turkey, China, and the United Arab Emirates.

Radović stated that in the past seven days, 15.93 thousand tourists visited Kotor, of which 7.33 thousand during the weekend.

The groups in question were from Turkey, USA, Poland, Russia and Great Britain.

She added that there are 42 hotels in the municipality, and that all of them are currently open.
