30 percent more guests in Kotor

A total of 6.33 thousand guests rest on the Kotor Riviera, which is 30 percent more than in the same period last year, announced the Tourist Organization (TO) of the Municipality of Kotor.

“Out of the total number of guests, almost five thousand are staying in private accommodation, 1.15 thousand in hotels, 133 in hostels and resorts, and 43 in camps,” announced the PR manager of TO Kotor, Milena Radović.

She added that in private accommodation, the most numerous guests are from Serbia, Russia, Turkey, Great Britain and Germany.

“In the hotels, as before, the most numerous guests are from Great Britain, France, Germany, the United States of America (USA), Israel, Turkey and from the countries of the region,” Radović stated.

When it comes to excursionists, 886 of them visited the Old Town on Thursday, as she said, and the most numerous were from the USA and Italy.

“In the previous seven days, as many as 16.95 thousand tourists visited Kotor, of which 7.96 thousand were on weekends, and the most numerous were groups of tourists from Turkey, USA, Russia, Spain and Great Britain”, specified Radović.

The organizers are the Municipality of Kotor, the Tourism Organization of the Municipality of Kotor and the Kotor cable car company.
