The 2024 Concession Plan for detailed geological exploration and exploitation of mineral resources includes granting concessions for seven additional locations, as confirmed by the Government in its latest session.

Granting these concessions aims to secure public interest, enhance the mining sector, and ensure the sustainable use of non-renewable mineral resources through long-term utilization. The plan also seeks to boost employment, promote the rational and economical use of natural resources, and achieve technical and technological advancements while preserving the environment.
