The company Solar Power from Podgorica is one step closer to building a solar power plant at the locations of Prentin do and Velestevo in Cetinje, as the Environmental Protection Agency gave the green light to the Elaborate Environmental Impact Assessment for the construction project of the solar power plant (SE) Čevo.
As can be seen in the document, the construction of a solar power plant with a total power of 150 MW is planned.
The solar park will be built on several cadastral plots owned by investors, that is, on locations that are not connected to each other. There will be a total of 10 locations – six in Prenta dol, four in Velestovo. The planned power plant will occupy an area of 990,000 m2 of land.
– Considering the installed power, the power plant will be connected to the power grid at a voltage level of 400 kV. In order for the connection to be in accordance with the recommendations and regulations of the Electric Power Company (EPCG), TS 400/20 kV with a power of 250 MVA will be built in the fence of the solar power plant – it was clarified.
The project envisages a 700 W panel with a utilization rate of 22.4% and enables the highest production at the location of the solar power plant. Inverters with a high power of 5612 kW were also selected, which reduced their number at the location of the solar power plant to the number that enables a technologically optimal solution.
