Montenegro can expect a large number of tourists from China, Chinese tour operators said during the fair in Shanghai.
The National Tourism Organization of Montenegro (NTO) presented Montenegro’s tourism offers at the International Tourism Exchange in China, ITB China, within the stand of the European Travel Commission.
“During the three days of the tourist exchange in Shanghai, from Tuesday to Thursday, representatives of the NTO and the tourism industry of Montenegro held numerous meetings with representatives of the tourism industry from China, who had the opportunity to become more familiar with the wide range of travel opportunities offered by our country”, it was announced from the NTO.
It is stated that, in addition, the NTO organized a business workshop in Beijing with the aim of networking the tourism industry and attended a business workshop in Shanghai, where over 100 tour operators from China were present.
The NTO of Montenegro said that during the fair and workshops, tour operators showed great interest in our destination and that they have high expectations from this market.
A representative of one of the most important tour operators in China, U tour, said that Montenegro is interesting to tourists from this market because of its attractive and diverse offer.
The manager of tour operator U tour Binchao Chen said that they already have Montenegro in their offer, but they want to enrich the offer with some new places in Montenegro, providing a unique experience to clients.
“The Chinese are extremely interested in the Montenegrin coast and want to visit as many tourist attractions as possible in a short period of time. Until now, we have cooperated with Montenegrin tourism agencies and we are extremely satisfied with the cooperation and we have high expectations for next year,” said Chen.
