At the end of July, there were 1.39 million mobile phone users in Montenegro, 6.23 percent more than in June.
The number of users in July corresponds to a penetration of 224.82 percent, according to the report of the Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Services (EKIP).
Compared to the same period last year, the number of users in July was 11.47 percent higher.
The share of postpaid users was 53.42 percent, and prepaid 46.58 percent.
Of the total number of users, M:tel had the most 520.73 thousand or 37.36 percent, followed by Crnogorski Telekom 497.88 thousand or 35.72 percent and One 375.35 thousand or 26.93 percent.
M:tel had 41.21 percent of the total number of prepaid users, Crnogorski Telekom 30.48 percent, and One 28.31 percent.
In July, Crnogorski Telekom had 40.29 percent of postpaid users, M:tel 33.99 percent, and One 25.72 percent.
