In the next year, the state can issue guarantees in the total amount of up to EUR 139 million.
As stated in the Draft Law on the Budget for the next year, the state can guarantee the credit arrangement between the Regional Water Supply Montenegrin Coast and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for the needs of the second tranche of the credit arrangement intended for financing the project to improve the regional water supply system through development projects, up to the amount of EUR 12 million.
In the next year, the state can also issue guarantees for the credit arrangement between the Railway Transport Company (ŽPCG) and EBRD for the purpose of financing the procurement of new trains for local passenger transport, up to the amount of EUR 30 million.
“Guarantees can be issued for the credit arrangement between the Montenegrin Power Transmission System (CGES) and EBRD for the purpose of financing the construction of the 400/110 kV substation Brezna, up to the amount of EUR 30 million, as well as for the credit arrangement between the same institutions for the purpose of constructing the 110 kV transmission line Vilusi-Herceg Novi with connected substations, up to the amount of EUR 18 million,” the document adds.
Guarantees can also be issued for the credit arrangement between the Power Utility Company (EPCG) and the German Development Bank (KfW) for the purpose of financing the project for the reconstruction and modernization of the hydroelectric power plant (HE) Perućica Phase II – Installation of unit A8, up to the amount of EUR 40 million, as well as for the credit arrangement between Montecargo and the creditor to be determined during the year, for the purpose of financing investment repairs of rolling stock – locomotives and wagons, up to the amount of EUR 3 million.
In the next year, the state can issue guarantees for the credit arrangement between the Regional Water Supply Montenegrin Coast and the creditor to be determined during the year, for the purpose of financing the project to improve the regional water supply system and protect the Bolje Sestre water source, up to the amount of EUR 6 million.
