Belgrade – Montenegro air travel reaches record levels

Air Serbia and Air Montenegro handled a total of 261.556 passengers on flights between Belgrade, Podgorica and Tivat during the first half of the year. The figure represents and increase of 28.9% on the same period in 2022 and an increase of 13.5% on the pre-pandemic 2019. During the January – June period, a total of 143.089 passengers travelled between Belgrade and Podgorica, while a further 118.467 flew between Belgrade and Tivat. Belgrade was the busiest destination out of both Podgorica and Tivat during the first half of the year. Air Serbia was Montenegro’s largest airline in 2022, both by the number of passengers carried and operated flights.
