43 percent more tourists in Bar

12.68 thousand registered guests are currently staying on the Bar Riviera, which is 43 percent more compared to the same period last year, the local Tourist Organization (TO) announced.

“When we talk about comparative data, today we have 13 percent more guests than in 2019, which was a record year in terms of the number of tourists and overnight stays,” the announcement states.

4.21 thousand guests are currently staying in hotels, which is 86 percent more than last year.

“There are 8.38 thousand tourists staying in private accommodation, which is 28 percent more than in the same period last year, while 86 registered guests are staying in resorts,” TO Bar said.

According to data, 41 percent more foreign guests stay on the Bar Riviera than last year.

“In hotel accommodation, the most numerous guests are from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Poland, Germany and France, while in private accommodation, the most frequent guests are from Serbia, Russia, BiH, Ukraine and Poland,” the statement added.

Tourist information offices will also be open in September.

“In addition to TIB Topolica and Virpazar, which are open throughout the year, in September tourist and information bureaus will operate in the tourist towns of ÄŒanj, Sutomore, Å uÅ¡anj, Stari Bar, Dobra Voda and Utjeha,” the announcement concludes.
