The value of used construction and operating materials last year in Montenegro amounted to EUR 157.4 million, which is two percent less than in 2021, according to Monstat’s preliminary data.
Monstat announced that the annual survey on the consumption of construction and operating materials includes construction and operating materials used by construction contractors, i.e. construction and non-construction companies, for the construction of buildings, for maintenance, repair and operation of machinery and rolling stock, for heating, office and other auxiliary material.
The consumption of construction and operating materials is shown for the entire construction company that submits the report, including the consumption of electricity and heating material for common services.
“Non-construction companies show the consumption of construction materials only for business units, as well as the consumption of operating and other materials only for their needs,” the statisticians said.
