The EBRD will continue to be a reliable and represented partner in all significant activities for which the Montenegrin Government needs material, as well as technical and professional assistance – it was ordered at today’s meeting

The Minister of Finance, Aleksandar Damjanović, and the Head of the Office of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in Montenegro, Remona Zakaria, discussed the projects whose implementation is ongoing, as well as those whose financing is planned for the next budget year.

The areas of greatest interest in the context of financing by the EBRD are infrastructure, with an emphasis on transport and energy, as well as projects in the field of health and education, but also the continuation of existing arrangements, such as, among others, with the Regional Waterworks of the Montenegrin Coast.

At the meeting, it was assessed that the highway remains a priority infrastructure project for Montenegro.
