The tourist organization Bar, in cooperation with the Union of Electronic Sports of Montenegro and the NGO 4Future, is organizing a panel discussion on Friday for the first time on the topic Gaming and electronic sports: Drivers of tourism and economic development.
The panel discussion will be held in the press room of SC Topolica at 12 noon.
“At the workshop, we will investigate how gaming and electronic sports can shape the tourism industry and contribute to the economic development of Bar,” the announcement states.
With the support of the panelists, Radovan Vojinović, Filip Šoć, Mia Kraljević-Ćalasan, Ajla Jadarić, Violeta Žudić and Maxim Mezdrikov, the discussion will shed light on the potential of gaming in the form of improving the local tourist offer and encouraging economic growth.
TO Bar said that gaming tourism is a growing phenomenon that significantly affects the tourism industry. The global tourism scene is undergoing a remarkable transformation under the influence of this trend, which is attracting the attention of millions of travelers worldwide.
“This dynamic form of tourism implies that travelers explore the destination and participate in gaming events, conventions and tournaments,” the statement added.
TO Bar recognizes the importance of this growing trend and in the future will strive to support and organize as many events as possible that bring together fans of electronic sports.
“This is only the first step towards positioning Bar as a recognizable gaming destination,” the announcement concludes.
