The construction of the residential complex Cortex village, intended for employees of IT companies that are members of ICT Cortex, has officially begun.
The foundation stone laying ceremony was held last Thursday in the presence of future tenants, partners and associates of the complex.
“This important step represents the realization of a long-awaited project, known as Cortex village, whose initiative was launched more than a year ago. The aim of the project is to solve the key life issue of experts from the IT industry – housing security“, stated in the ICT Cortex press release.
The executive director of ICT Cortex, Tarik Zaimović, said that he is very proud that they managed to provide 100 apartments to young IT families, that is, one very high-quality and comfortable home, which is focused on the family.
“We have some nice contents that will bring us together there, and I have to say that I am very proud of the entire project,” said Zaimović.
The executive director of Eurozox, Zoran Drobnjak, announced that he is pleased that they are marking the start of work in an official way, in order to make sure together that the dynamics, deadlines and quality of work are in accordance with the planned.
“The plan for the completion of the works is March 13th, 2025, but we are trying to, together with our partners and for the benefit of the end users, finish a few months earlier,” added Drobnjak.
Given that this residential complex will make up as much as 30 percent of the green area, planting a tree symbolically marked not only the beginning of construction, but also an emphasis on the commitment to preserving the natural environment and creating a harmonious environment for future tenants.
