Also, the Administration is responsible for providing within its budget funds in the amount of one million euros each for the municipalities of Žabljak, Pljevlja and Plužine as part of the activity “assistance to local self-governments in solving infrastructural problems” – it was announced.

In the discussion, it was emphasized that when concluding special contracts on the dedicated use of allocated funds, it is necessary to take care that the projects that will be the subject of the contract are not financed from the funds of the European Union’s pre-accession support to Montenegro.

The Minister of Economic Development and Tourism, Goran Đurović, said at the session that the municipality signing the contract will be obliged to open special dedicated accounts.

The allocated funds of the municipality will be able to be used for the need, preparation and revision of technical documentation, preparation of studies, announcement of tenders, initiation of the expropriation procedure, as well as execution of works and execution of development projects – he explained.

Prime Minister Dritan Abazović invited all local governments to submit projects, stating that Mojkovac has already submitted a project for a new city square, and that Petnjica and Šavnik also have projects ready.
