More participants on the stock market of Montenegro – Energy Company of Republika Srpska has arrived

MH Energy Company of Republika Srpska Parent company AD Trebinje (ERS), a company based in Trebinje, has successfully completed the registration process on the stock market of Montenegro and thus became the twenty-second participant in BELEN’s markets, of which the fifteenth outside Montenegro, it was announced from the Montenegrin electricity exchange (BELEN).

Energy Company of Republika Srpska (ERS) was founded as a public company on June 2nd, 1992, and in 2005 it was organized as Mixed Holding “Energy Company” Republika Srpska joint stock company Trebinje. MH Energy Company RS, one of the 3 electrical companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina, consists of 11 subsidiaries and a parent company that permanently controls and evaluates the performance of all subsidiaries. MH ERS is composed of five companies for the production of electricity, five companies for the distribution of electricity and the Research and Development Center of Electric Energy IRCE a.d. which deals with research, testing and development of power equipment. MH ERS deals with the production of electricity and the exploitation of raw materials needed in the production of electricity, distribution and sale of electricity, power system management as well as project management and implementation of projects in the energy sector in the RS,” BELEN said in a statement.

As it is added, the total installed power of ERS production facilities, in which energy is produced from hydro and thermal (coal) sources, is 1348 MW, while the average annual production of electricity from existing production facilities is about 5000 GWh. MH ERS exports 25% of its annual electricity production to countries in the region, and it plans its future in such a way as to ensure the stability and development of the system through its business moves, through integration into the energy system of Europe.
