The price of electricity could increase in the coming year, and the percentage of increase for households with two-tariff metering, of which there are the most in Montenegro, would amount to 5.63%. This decision, however, is not yet final.

Namely, the Regulatory Agency for Energy and Regulated Utilities (REGAGEN) issued a report based on opinions and objections to the report on the analysis of documentation at the request of the Montenegrin electric distribution system for determining the regulatory permitted income and prices for 2024 and 2025.

As announced by the Agency, the decision on determining the prices for the use of the electricity distribution system will be made after the open part of the session of the REGAGEN Board, taking into account any new arguments, information and documentation submitted at the session itself, which will be held on Monday, 27th November.

– Therefore, the information on the amount of CEDIS‘s regulatory allowed income as well as its impact on the prices for users of the distribution system, which we are currently sharing with the public, is not final – it is stated in the announcement.
