Montenegro, Thermal power plant Pljevlja under overhaul

Thermal power plant Pljevlja is undergoing overhaul from April 17, and then Elektroprivreda switches to the import side, said Nikola Rovčanin, executive director of Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG), in Colors of the Morning on TV Vijesti.

He said that he expects the overhaul of the Thermal Power Plant to last 40 days.

– We have enough accumulated funds and good energy management in which they reserved certain quantities even for July, August and September at favorable prices that were at the beginning of the year – added Rovčanin.

He said that EPCG’s business for 2022 is positive and amounts to EUR 4.2 million.

– In the first quarter of 2023, EPCG made a profit of over EUR 75 million. EPCG made a profit of EUR 85 million from electricity exports for January, February and March – said Rovčanin.
