Montenegro was among the candidates for the prestigious World Spa Awards 2023 in the category of Best Wellness Destination in the World. As announced by the National Tourism Organization (NTO), it is a global initiative that sets standards and rewards excellence in spa and wellness tourism through an annual awards program.
With the aim of inspiring exceptional standards and connecting spa consumers with the best in spa and wellness tourism, the organizers are listening to the needs and experiences of travelers, in order to make a shortlist of nominees – the announcement states.
At the ninth awards ceremony in a row, Oman, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Vietnam, India, Italy, New Zealand, Bali (Indonesia) and three American federal states – California, Arizona and Hawaii – will compete in the same category alongside Montenegro.
The nomination itself at this prestigious competition and in such strong competition represents a great achievement and invaluable global promotion, confirming that Montenegro is highly positioned as a destination with an attractive and diverse tourist offer – say the NTO.
Until August 8th of the current year, all business professionals, media representatives and clients can vote online for their favorite within the spa and wellness sector.
