Montenegro has a huge potential for business travel, said at the Meet the Bidder event in Warsaw.
As announced by the National Tourist Organization (NTO), the Montenegrin Congress Bureau, within the NTO, participated in the specialized event for the congress tourism industry Meet the Bidder, which gathers tour operators from the field of congress tourism, but also those who specialize in luxury travel, both from Poland and from other European and world countries.
– The meetings held by the representatives of the Montenegrin Congress Bureau represent an excellent opportunity for acquiring new contacts and creating business opportunities for introducing interested parties to various forms of activities that can be realized in Montenegro. In this way, a high-quality offer of hotels and places for events, unique attractions, sights of the country, as well as novelties in the offer were presented – the announcement states.
On that occasion, great interest was expressed in the offer of the destination, future cooperation with NTOCG and the organization of events in Montenegro. Tour operators from the field of congress tourism, as well as those who specialize in luxury travel, said that they would be happy to recommend Montenegro to their clients.
– I am glad that I had the opportunity to familiarize myself with the offer of Montenegro through the presentation, since this is one of the European regions with which we are still not fully familiar, while we already cooperate with countries from that region. Montenegro seems like a country that has a lot to offer in terms of nature, event venues and hotel facilities, and it absolutely matches what my clients are looking for – said Loni Gulliksen, director of the Congress Consulting Management Group from Denmark.
Director of Corporate Events from India, Deepak Jagtiani, said that Montenegro really seems like a country that is ideal for organizing events, small corporate groups, but also for vacations, emphasizing that he is particularly interested in the luxury segment of Montenegrin tourism.
– I was impressed by the information that it is possible to swim in the sea and visit the mountains on the same day, but I am also happy that it is a destination with over 240 sunny days a year. Actually, I’m traveling to Montenegro already tomorrow and I’m looking forward to seeing all the beauties of this country live – said Jagtiani.
Representatives of the Montenegrin Congress Bureau NTOCG held meetings with companies from different countries: Signature by Anne Candy and Bo reals from France, Logos Tours, Alex Art Agencja, Meeting Maker, Hula Events and Api Travel from Poland, Congress Consulting Management Group from Denmark, Corporate Events from India, MICE from Great Britain, and but also with the representative of the Polish Association of Incentive Travel Organizers, and the president of the IATTE association (Indian Association of Tourist Experts), who is also the representative of the Tour passion company, with a representative office in India and France. The event was attended by representatives of the Montenegrin tourism industry, who also held numerous meetings.
Since 2012, Meet The Bidder events have been held three times a year – in March, June and November. For several years, Meet the Bidder events have become increasingly popular and attended, proving that, even in the Internet era, nothing can replace the most important thing – direct contact between potential business partners. So far, over 600 exhibitors from all over the world and over a thousand managers and professionals from the congress tourism sector have attended this event, local media writes.
