The project, spearheaded by the Novi Volvox – Leitner consortium under a concession agreement signed in December 2021, saw swift completion in just over a year since the cornerstone was laid in July of the same year.

The cable car route originates from Duba, located within the Municipality of Kotor, and ascends to the Kuk site on Mount Lovćen, situated at an altitude of 1,350 meters. With a projected capacity of 48 gondolas accommodating 1,200 passengers per hour, the travel time from the Dub station to the Kuk station is estimated to be under 11 minutes.
