On Sunday, August 13th, a new record was set in the number of vehicles passing 15.55 thousand on the Podgorica – Mateševo highway section, which is far from sustainable. According to Monteput data, it is the third time in 13 months of operation of this section that the number of daily passes exceeded 15,000 vehicles. The section of the highway that day brought in about 60,000 EUR.

From the beginning of the year to August 14th, 1.42 million vehicles passed through this section of the highway.

Monteput manages the Sozina tunnel and this section of the highway, and is also responsible for the preparation of technical documentation for other sections of the Bar – Boljare highway. According to the company’s plan for this year, they expect an income of EUR 11 million from toll collection through Sozina, and EUR 9.4 million from the highway, and EUR 42.5 million from the sale of constructed substations and other power infrastructure to CEDIS and CGES , so with some smaller revenues, the total will amount to EUR 63.6 million.

From the sale of energy facilities, Monteput plans to immediately repay the loan of EUR 41 million taken for their construction.
