German drugstore chain Rossmann is entering the Montenegrin market?

The German drugstore chain Rossmann plans to expand its retail network in the Balkans by entering the markets of Montenegro and North Macedonia.

The company Rossmann records positive business results in all European markets. In 2022, Rossmann achieved record sales growth of EUR 12.5 billion. Rossmann recently announced that it has established cooperation with the ASPIAG (Spar Austria) group and that the Rossmann range will be available in Spar stores in Austria, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia and the northern part of Italy. Cooperation with a Chinese supermarket chain was also announced.

Rossmann is the oldest chain of drugstores in Europe. The first facility was opened in Germany in 1972. The company operates in more than 4,500 locations across Europe and employs 60,000 people.
