According to data from the end of August, 6.5 thousand guests stay in Tivat, eight percent more than in the same period last year, the local Tourist Organization (TO) announced.
Hotel accommodation has been recording growth and better occupancy compared to the previous year for a long time.
932 guests are currently staying in the hotels, that is, 24 percent more than last year. Hotels are mainly occupied by foreigners, 877 of them.
According to the latest TO data, a five percent increase in guests was also recorded in private accommodation, so that currently 5.47 thousand tourists are resting on the Tivat Riviera, of which only 11 are domestic.
In other types of accommodation, resorts and camps, the number of guests is at the same level as last season. There are 29 foreigners in the camps and 70 in the resorts.
TO is satisfied with the visit and hope that this trend of visits will continue in the postseason.
