In the territory of Plužine, there was a need to determine the locations for the construction of solar and wind power plants, as well as business zones, so a decision was made to draft amendments to the Spatial-Urban Plan of that municipality.
As announced, the changes and additions to this planning document are made within the limits of the current plan, that is, they cover an area of approx. 854 km.
The PUP of the Municipality of Plužine was adopted in 2012, but based on the initiative of the Municipality of Plužine from March 22, 2023, there was a need to determine the locations for the construction of solar and wind power plants, business zones, as well as to correct the scope of certain local location studies that were need to be reconsidered.
The goal of drafting the amendments is to create planning assumptions for a more rational use of resources in accordance with the principle of sustainable spatial planning and the state’s intention that the development and prosperity of municipalities in the north of Montenegro is based on the development of energy – the Government stated.
As stated in the material, in view of the accelerated development of tourist and other offers, there is also a need for the construction of new tourist facilities, central activities and the like.
Saša Karajović was appointed as the manager of the development of this plan, and the compensation for the manager and the expert team was determined in the amount of EUR 70,000.
