By August 25th, state-owned companies paid EUR 4.37 million into the budget

The government has adopted information by which companies majority-owned by the state, which have achieved a positive financial result in 2021 and 2022, and which are not subject to the restrictions of the Law on Business Companies, oblige them to pay part of the profit from the previous year into the budget as soon as possible.

Based on data from the State Treasury Directorate, it was established that EUR 4.37 million was paid to the budget account as of August 25th of this year, which represents 10.94% of the total expected amount (EUR 40 million) of payments based on distribution get for 2021 and 2022.

The company Monteput DOO Podgorica was released from this obligation, which the Government tasked with directing the profits realized in the previous two years, i.e. a total of 2.17 million EUR, to the development of project documentation for the Adriatic-Ionian highway and to the development of the main project of the section of the highway road Bar-Boljare, from Mateševo ​​to Andrijevica.
