The mentioned number of flights was made to 15 destinations in regular traffic and, additionally, to 16 destinations to which a series of charter flights were made.

“According to official data, Air Montenegro is in first place in terms of the number of passengers transported from the airport in Montenegro during the summer season this year, compared to the previous year when the company ranked second according to the same statistics,” the company specified.

The company started the summer season by launching charter flights, for the first time, to the Baltic countries, namely the cities of Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius.

With the implementation of charter flights to the Baltic countries, as well as to the Polish cities of Rzeszów and Katowice and Chisinau in Moldova, a total of 38.78 thousand passengers were transported.

“In addition to these, the company also operated charter flights to Tel Aviv, Bratislava, Yerevan, Cairo, La Rochelle, La Havre, Cannes and Dole, Graz, Vienna and Berlin,” the statement said.

The season was also marked by the opening of additional airlines, from Podgorica to Bratislava and Sarajevo, as well as from Tivat to Brno.

The opening of these lines contributed to better occupancy and the use of available aircraft at full capacity.
