A new wind power plant will be built in Kolašin

Land with an area of ​​over 1.5 million square meters in Lipovska Bistrica, on the site of Sinjavina, on the territory of the municipality of Kolašin, is being leased, and the construction of a wind power plant is planned on the site.

As specified in the invitation published by the Ministry of Finance, land with a total area of ​​1,538,396 m2 will be leased for a period of 30 years for the purpose of designing, building, exploiting and maintaining a wind power plant with an installed capacity of up to 7 KW per wind generator, at the initial price rent at an annual level of EUR 539,000. The rental price on an annual basis will be adjusted for the amount of the appropriate annual inflation rate established in Montenegro.

The deadline for submitting applications is up to and including September 25th at 1 p.m. at the latest. The public oral competition will be held in the premises of the Ministry of Finance, Stanko Dragojevića 2, office number 44, on September 28th, starting at 11 a.m.

All domestic and foreign legal and physical entities, as well as consortia that meet the conditions required in the tender, have the right to participate in the public tender.

Applications are submitted exclusively by direct delivery to the Commission, at the address Ministry of Finance, Stanka Dragojevića Street No. 2, Podgorica, Office No. 14.

As previously announced by the Government, the decision to lease the land was made at the last session. In the documentation published on the Government’s website, it is stated that the potential of this land has already been recognized by the company Energy 2 from Podgorica, which in March sent a request to the Ministry of Finance for the long-term lease of land in the municipalities of Mojkovac and Kolašin, with the aim of investing in the construction of a wind power plant.
