This year could be record-breaking in terms of the number of tourist arrivals from Israel

The current year could potentially be record-breaking in terms of the number of Israeli tourists visiting Montenegro, said the Honorary Consul of Montenegro in Israel, Nimrod Rinot.

He met today with the Minister of Tourism, Ecology, Sustainable Development, and the Development of the North, Vladimir Martinović, to discuss key aspects of the tourist season and the enhancement of tourist arrivals.

According to the Ministry of Tourism, Ecology, Sustainable Development, and the Development of the North, the focus of the meeting was on strengthening tourism ties between Montenegro and Israel, considering the significance of Israeli tourists for Montenegro’s tourism industry.

It was discussed potential improvements in air connectivity between the two countries.

Rinot expressed his belief that this year could witness a record number of Israeli tourists visiting Montenegro.

He also expressed satisfaction with the formation of the new government, stating that investors from Israel now feel greater security and legal protection.

Rinot conveyed his country’s support to the Government of Montenegro, particularly to the Ministry, as partners committed to European integration and NATO.

Furthermore, he proposed organizing a meeting in Israel with members of the Montenegrin Government on the topic of the tourist season, which would further contribute to strengthening cooperation and enhancing tourist flows between the two countries.

Martinović emphasized the successful cooperation between Montenegro and Israel, but also the need for further improvement.
