The completion of technical and contractual documentation for the continuation of highway construction is underway, with the aim of issuing a public call for the selection of the contractor for the Mateševo-Andrijevica section in the first half of this year,” announced Minister of Transport and Maritime Affairs Filip Radulović.
“The government has recognized the importance and necessity of continuing the construction of the Bar-Boljare highway, specifically the next section Mateševo-Andrijevica, with a length of 23 kilometers. In order to quickly connect with the highway on the territory of Serbia and further with European corridors, as well as to continue investments in strategic capital projects, it was decided that the next section would be realized with funds from the state budget,” said Radulović.
According to him, the completion of technical and contractual documentation is underway, with the aim of issuing a public call for the selection of the contractor in the first half of this year, after which the cost of the works will be known.
“Simultaneously, preparations are being made to start the expropriation procedure and other activities that precede the actual construction of the highway at the beginning of this year,” said Radulović.
