The profit of companies included in the MNSE10 index was EUR 109.15 million

The companies included in the MNSE10 stock market index achieved a net profit of EUR 109.15 million in the third quarter, the Montenegro Stock Exchange announced.

As stated, in the same period of the previous year, the net result of these 10 companies was negative, that is, they realized a loss of EUR 47.97 million.

– Compared to the third quarter of last year, these companies achieved an increase in net results in the amount of about 327.54% – they stated from the Montenegro Stock Exchange.

The data show that the largest absolute net profit for nine months of this year was achieved by the electric power company of Montenegro EUR 62.97 million. It is followed by the Montenegrin electric transmission system with net earnings of EUR 26.2 million, and Hipotekarna bank with net earnings of EUR 11.45 million.

In relation to comparative data for the same period in 2022, the largest increase in net results of 171.03% was recorded by the electric power company of Montenegro, followed by Crnogorski Telekom with an increase in the amount of 109.29%.

Looking at the business revenues of the most representative Montenegrin companies that make up the MNSE10 index, they amounted to EUR 809.02 million at the end of the third quarter, which is about 0.45% lower compared to the same period of the previous year.

Hipotekarna bank led the way with a 27.84% increase in operating income. In second place is the Port of Adria, whose operating revenues are higher by 18.20%, and in third place is the electric power company of Montenegro, whose operating revenues have increased by 13.23% – the report states.

Montenegro Stock Exchange states that eight companies recorded earnings per share, with Jugopetrol leading the way with earnings per share in the amount of EUR 1.4427 and Hipotekarna Bank with earnings per share in the amount of EUR 1.1180.

– Compared to the same period in the previous year, on September 30th of this year, the MNSE10 index recorded a growth of 28.06% and achieved a value of 1034.57 percentage points – the report concludes.
