The number of windmills on the Krnovo plateau near Nikšić will soon increase, as work on the Gvozd wind park will begin in the spring of 2024.
That energy facility, which is financed by a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development with EUR 82 million, will be owned by Elektroprivreda (EPCG) and will provide electricity for 25,000 households.
EPCG does not give up on the Komarnica and Kruševo hydropower plants either, and says that the state must take a unified position on the further development of energy.
