State Leases Land in Bijelo Polje for 150-Hectare Wind Farm Construction Project

The Ministry of Spatial Planning, Urbanism, and State Property of Montenegro has announced a public call for the long-term lease of state-owned land for a period of 30 years, for the construction of a wind farm in the locality of Korita within the municipality of Bijelo Polje.

As indicated in the announcement, the location is designated for the construction of a wind farm with an individual capacity of 6.6 MW per wind turbine.

Four cadastral parcels belonging to the cadastral municipality Korita in Bijelo Polje are being offered for lease, with a total area of 1,502,337 square meters.

The starting lease price on an annual basis is 341,000 EUR. The prospective lessee is obligated to construct an energy facility, namely a wind farm, on the specified parameters – 6.6 MW individually per wind turbine.

The deadline for submitting applications is no later than February 12th at 1:00 PM. The public auction will take place on February 15th at 10:00 AM at the Ministry’s premises.
