Budget revenues for the period from January to June amounted to EUR 1.27 billion, which is EUR 321.3 million or 35.1% more than in the same period last year, announced Prime Minister in technical mandate Dritan Abazović.
He added that revenues in that period were higher than planned by EUR 230.3 million or 22.9%.
– Revenues in the budget for June amounted to EUR 251.7 million, which is an increase of EUR 86.2 million or 52.1% compared to the same period last year. Compared to the planned, revenues in June were higher by 84.5 million or an incredible 50.5% – said Abazović.
He said that the best month for the economy is yet to come.
– Well, June has passed, the elections have passed, bankruptcy is nowhere in sight, and there are no apologies for the political-populist panic in the absence of relevant arguments. To this, we should add that July and August, traditionally the best months for the Montenegrin economy, are yet to follow. We are moving forward, there is no stopping – we are moving towards a record season, and we hope that the weather will be our ally in that success – concluded Abazović.
