Record results in tourism, revenue 1.36 billion EUR

Montenegro has broken records and so far has earned EUR 1.36 billion from tourism, announced the former Prime Minister, and current MP and President of the Citizens’ Movement URA Dritan Abazović.

– As we announced earlier, the year 2023, although it is the middle of November, is the best tourist season in the history of Montenegro. Realized revenues exceeded EUR 1.36 billion – wrote Abazović on social networks.

Of this, as he stated, EUR 908 million was realized in the third quarter alone, which is 33% more than last year in the same period when that amount was EUR 678 million.

– For the sake of comparison, for the entire, so far record year, 2019, revenues amounted to EUR 1.019 billion. We are waiting for the fourth quarter and the setting of the final result, which will be challenging for all subsequent governments – concluded Abazović.
