National Parks of Montenegro revenues exceeded two million euros

The revenues of the National Parks of Montenegro (NPCG) exceeded two million euros for the first time in history, with 80,000 more visitors than the record 2019 and even 140,000 more than last year, announced Prime Minister Dritan Abazović.

“As of August 20th, NPCG generated an income of 2.4 million euros, which is an absolute record in the history of this company.” The result is incomparable in terms of income compared to previous years, it is almost 950,000 euros higher than in 2019, when it amounted to 1.1 million euros, and by more than a million compared to last year, when in the same period the income of 949,000 euros was recorded.”, wrote Abazović on his profile on the social network Facebook.

When it comes to visits, 459,500 visitors visited all our national parks this year, which is almost 80,000 more than the record 2019, and even 140,000 more tickets were sold compared to last year.

“We continue with the Montenegro365 campaign and brand Montenegro as a green destination. As it was said, breaking the overall record of the tourism industry has never been closer. We are on the right path”, said Abazović.
