“Given that the total readership of these media reaches over 1.5 million readers on a daily basis, it is expected that the articles published in the printed and online editions will contribute to the promotion of Montenegro as a tourist destination,” the announcement states.

Helmuth Weichselbraun from Kleine Zeitung, stated in an article that winding and narrow streets in Montenegro lead to unreal nature, royal residences, dream beaches and picturesque places.

“We were delighted by the pass on which the letter M is drawn, which symbolizes Queen Milena, and a beautiful view of the unique Bay of Kotor. That road is a symbol of the contrasts that this country offers, and it leads through many curves from the coastal cities to the mountainous regions of Montenegro,” said Weichselbraun.

In the article of the daily newspaper Kurier, the tourist attractions of Herceg Novi, Kotor, Budva, Podgorica, as well as Cetinje are described, which the article calls the “cultural and historical heart of Montenegro”.

“Cetinje, a city at the foot of the mighty Lovcen massif, is the cultural and historical heart of Montenegro. “King Nikola’s castle, galleries, museums and the official residence of the president of the country are more than worth the winding journey from Kotor to Prijestonica,” the article states.

The journalist of the Salzburger Nachrichten daily newspaper and portal, Helmut Kretzl, expressed his satisfaction with his stay in the destination and presented Montenegro through attractive photos.

“Montenegro is particularly attractive because of the incredible combination of sea and mountains, which can be observed in several places. Now the new cable car Kotor – Lovćen is open, so tourists have the opportunity to enjoy the unique view from a different perspective”, said Kretzl.

In addition to NTO, local tourist organizations of Tivat, Cetinje, Budva, Herceg Novi, Kotor and Bar, National Parks of Montenegro, National Museums of Montenegro, and Plantations provided support in the organization of this study visit.

In the coming period, NTO will continue to promote the destination on this market, and will host tour operators from Austria and representatives of one of the more well-known television stations, Servus TV, on which a report on active vacations in Montenegro will be broadcast.
