The National Tourism Organization (NTO) is set to host the DRV fvw Destination Forum, slated to occur in Montenegro from May 27th to June 1st.
According to the NTO, the German Travel Association and Tourism Agencies (DRV) along with fvw, a prominent business magazine in Germany for the travel and tourism sector, are collaboratively organizing this forum, marking its tenth consecutive year.
“This esteemed event serves as a gathering point for key decision-makers within the German tourism industry and holds significant potential for elevating Montenegro’s tourism sector,” the announcement stated.
Approximately 60 carefully chosen representatives from German tour operators, travel agencies, airlines, the German Tourism Association, and media outlets are expected to participate. Over a span of three days, they will embark on various tours to explore the tourist offerings across all regions of Montenegro.
“The forum will particularly spotlight the north’s potential and showcase Montenegro as a destination offering diverse experiences throughout every season. Following the destination tours, the NTO will host panel discussions and a business workshop aimed at facilitating knowledge exchange within the tourism sector and fostering connections with Montenegro’s tourism industry,” the statement outlined.
The primary objectives of the Destination Forum include boosting awareness of Montenegro as an appealing tourist destination in the German market, enhancing destination sales from German tour operators, and showcasing the destination through Germany’s leading business media for tourism and travel.
“With a membership exceeding three thousand DRV members and over 120 thousand fvw readers, the forum not only serves as a platform for idea exchange and networking with key players in the tourism industry but also presents an opportunity to position Montenegro as a year-round tourist destination in the German market.”
