Montenegro’s National Tourist Organization (NTO) recently welcomed tour operators from Belgium, offering them a chance to explore the diverse tourism opportunities in Montenegro.

Representatives from some of Belgium’s leading tour operators, including TUI, Asteria Expeditions, Amazing Destinations, Neckermann, and Yellosun, immersed themselves in Montenegro’s natural wonders and cultural heritage. They embarked on journeys through national parks like Skadar Lake and Lovćen, cruised on the lake’s pristine waters, and delved into the historical richness of Montenegro by visiting Budva, Kotor, Cetinje, and Podgorica. Additionally, they toured renowned localities and hotels across the country.

The tour operators were impressed by the comprehensive insight into Montenegro’s accommodations, natural beauty, and cultural heritage provided by the trip. They particularly admired the picturesque combination of beautiful bays, crystal-clear seas, and majestic mountains.

To strengthen economic ties with the Belgian market, NTO organized a business workshop involving over 20 Montenegrin tourism stakeholders. The workshop showcased Montenegro’s rich array of destinations, accommodations, and tourist attractions, aiming to foster partnerships with Belgian tour operators.

In addition to NTO, the study visit of Belgian tour operators received support from strategic partners such as the Budva Riviera hotel group and local tourist organizations from Bar, Kotor, Cetinje, and Budva. Various entities, including the National Parks of Montenegro, Kotor Cable Car, Forza Kuk, and a range of hotels like Iberostar, Hilton, Hyatt Regency Kotor Bay Resort, Budva, Regent, AMI, Tara, Conte, Gradska Kafana in Cetinje, and Citadela, contributed to the successful exploration of Montenegro’s tourism potential.
