Montenegro’s commercial banks report positive first quarter profits

All 11 commercial banks in Montenegro concluded the first quarter of this year on a positive note, collectively recording a total profit of 38.67 million euros.

Crnogorska Komercijalna Banka led the pack with the highest profit of 13.29 million euros, followed by NLB and Hipotekarna Bank with profits of approximately six million and 5.11 million euros, respectively, as per data published on the Central Bank’s website (CBCG).

Erste Bank realized a profit of EUR 4.8 million, while Adriatic Bank reached 4.19 million euros, and Universal Capital Bank reported a profit of EUR 1.95 million.

Zapad Banka’s profit stood at 1.26 million euros by the end of March, while Lovćen Bank recorded 1.02 million euros. Addiko Bank reported a profit of 759,000 euros, and Ziraat Banka’s profit amounted to 312,000 euros.

Prva Banka concluded the quarter with a profit of 8,000 euros.
