American investments are well welcomed in Montenegro

Montenegro is open to American investments, Prime Minister Dritan Abazović said in Washington during a meeting with the American Central European Business Association (ACEBA), which gathers American companies with majority American capital.

As announced by the Government, during the meeting there was talk of better economic cooperation between American companies and the state of Montenegro.

– Prime Minister Abazović presented the benefits for investing in Montenegro, stating that our country is open to foreign investors, which is best evidenced by last year’s record in direct foreign investments, which exceeded one billion euros for the first time – the announcement states.

As they add, Abazović emphasized that the Government is available to further improve relations. He introduced representatives of American companies to the benefits of investing in tourism, as well as the energy sector and infrastructure. The meeting was attended by representatives of the American Central-European Business Association, as well as representatives of American companies, such as UGT Renewables, Palo Alto Networks, Bechtel and Oshkosh Defense.
