The state leases over 635,000 square meters of land in Šavnik for the construction of wind farms

The Ministry of Finance has announced a public call for long-term lease for a period of 30 years of state-owned land for the construction of a wind power plant in the municipality of Šavnik.

The land is leased for the purpose of designing, building, exploiting and maintaining a wind power plant with an installed power of 6.6 MW individually per wind generator.

These are plots 1929/5 with an area of ​​236,219 m2, as well as plot 1571/3 with an area of ​​399,085 square meters, KO Malinsko. The total area of ​​the land is, therefore, 635,304 m2, and the initial rental price on an annual basis is EUR 176,400. The annual rental price is adjusted for the amount of the appropriate annual inflation rate determined in Montenegro.

On the land that is leased, the future investor is obliged to build a wind power plant with an installed power of 6.6 MW individually per wind generator.

The deadline for submitting applications is August 15th at 1 p.m. at the latest. The public tender will be held on August 17th at 11 a.m. in the premises of the Ministry of Finance.

Investors have already recognized the potential of Šavnik for the construction of facilities for the production of electricity from renewable sources, so the company Vjetro park Bijela was recently issued urban planning and technical conditions for a wind power plant with a capacity of up to 118.80 MW.
