Representatives from Germany’s TUI, the world’s largest tourism company, are scheduled to visit Montenegro starting next Monday to explore the country’s tourism offerings.
During the “Economy Days” forum in Berlin, Prime Minister Milojko Spajić engaged with leading German business figures, highlighting Montenegro’s economic potential.
“Tourism, our primary economic sector, was underscored as a pivotal area for stronger Montenegro-Germany cooperation, with immediate action plans,” stated the government. “Effective promotion is crucial, and the visit of TUI representatives from Germany, the world’s largest tourism entity, will commence on Monday to assess Montenegro’s tourism assets.”
Discussions also identified ample opportunities for enhancing economic ties.
“As Montenegro prepares to join the EU, utilizes the Euro, and is a NATO member, alongside its rich natural resources and skilled workforce, it stands as an attractive destination for long-term investments,” Prime Minister Spajić affirmed. He emphasized the government’s preference for companies committed to creating jobs and fostering sustained presence in Montenegro.
Energy potential emerged as a key economic driver, benefiting not only Montenegro but the broader regional context.
“With its renewable energy production capabilities and strategic geographic positioning, Montenegro is poised to become a significant EU partner in energy,” highlighted Spajić.
Prime Minister Spajić’s participation in the “Economy Days” conference, hosted by the Economic Council of Germany’s Christian Democratic Union (CDU), featured discussions involving top German officials, corporate leaders, experts, analysts, and professors.
