MK Energy, headquartered in Podgorica, is gearing up to establish the Koljeno solar power plant, boasting a capacity of 5 MW (AC), in Rožaje.
The company has formally applied to the Municipality of Rožaje’s Secretariat for Urban Planning and Environmental Protection to assess the necessity of conducting an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) report.
As outlined in the municipal website’s notice, the solar facility is slated to span across multiple cadastral parcels within the Koljeno I area of Rožaje. The proposed plant entails a 5 MW (AC) capacity installation, complete with a substation (TS 5MW 35/0.8 kV) integrated into the existing 35 kV distribution grid.
All documentation pertaining to the power plant’s construction is currently open for public scrutiny until March 29th, accessible both at the Municipality of Rožaje’s offices and online.
