The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management opens call for fisheries development grants on Skadar Lake

The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Water Management has announced a call for applications for grants aimed at improving commercial fishing activities on Skadar Lake. Interested parties have until October 15th to apply.

Eligibility for these grants is open to companies, entrepreneurs, or individuals who hold valid permits issued by the Skadar Lake National Park and have been consistently engaged in commercial fishing activities over the past two years. Verification of this eligibility will be conducted through the Ministry’s electronic registry of issued permits.

The funds from these grants can be utilized for the acquisition of materials, tools, and equipment necessary for fishing operations.

A total budget of €60,000 has been allocated for this public call. The maximum allowable investment per applicant is €8,000, with the Ministry providing non-repayable support of up to 50%, capped at €4,000.
