Positive results for Montenegrin banking sector at the end of Q2 2024

At the end of the second quarter of this year, all 11 commercial banks in Montenegro recorded positive results, with a total profit of EUR 87.23 million. The highest profit of EUR 28.23 million was achieved by the Crnogorska Komercijalna Banka, followed by NLB and Hipotekarna with profits of EUR 14.3 million and EUR 12.55 million, respectively, according to data published on the Central Bank of Montenegro’s (CBCG) website.

Adriatic Bank reported a profit of nearly EUR 10 million, Erste Bank EUR 8.8 million, and Universal Capital EUR 3.89 million.

At the end of June, Zapad Bank’s profit was EUR 2.51 million, Lovćen Bank EUR 2.4 million, Prva Banka EUR 2.17 million, and Addiko Bank EUR 1.79 million.

Ziraat Bank’s profit amounted to EUR 587,000.
