Tourism in Kotor: Over 10,000 visitors, private accommodations in high demand

Kotor is currently welcoming 10,500 visitors, as reported by the local Tourist Organization (TO).

Of these, 8,340 are staying in private accommodations, 1,750 in hotels, 316 in hostels, and 94 in campsites, according to Radio Kotor.

The majority of guests in private accommodations come from Serbia, Russia, Turkey, the United Kingdom and Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). For hotel stays, the leading nationalities are from the United Kingdom, the United States, Israel, Turkey, France, and Germany.

“According to the latest figures from the Tourist Information Center, the city hosted 868 excursionists today,” stated TO representatives.

Last week, Kotor saw a total of 14,490 excursionists, with the largest groups arriving from Turkey, the USA, Poland, the United Kingdom, and France.
