Zoran Milovanović, CEO of M:tel, recently discussed the company’s achievements and future plans in an interview with Pobjeda. Despite being the youngest operator in Montenegro’s telecommunications market, M:tel has become a market leader, achieving significant growth and customer satisfaction.

  • Achievements and market position: M:tel achieved a historic market share of 40.19% with 551,900 mobile users. Milovanović attributes this success to years of dedicated work, creativity and innovation. The company also leads in cable services with a 41.41% market share and in internet services with 44.11%. The company’s self-care app boasts over 200,000 active users, reflecting strong customer trust.
  • 5G network development: Mrecently promoted its 5G network, showcasing its potential to enhance user experiences and business operations. The promotion featured events in Podgorica, Bar and Nikšić, including a holographic concert, demonstrating 5G’s capabilities. Milovanović emphasized that 5G is more than just increased data speeds; it represents a gateway to a new future for both citizens and businesses. The company plans significant investments and innovations, including AI projects.
  • Future expectations: Mhas experienced record revenue and profit growth, with profits increasing nearly sixfold from 2022. The company aims to continue this trend, focusing on user satisfaction and maintaining its leadership position.
  • Social responsibility: Mis committed to social responsibility, demonstrated by its Digitana factory, which supports the startup community and digital education. The company collaborates with the Montenegrin government on various initiatives, including digital literacy programs and supporting significant events such as concerts and diaspora gatherings.
  • Educational initiatives: Mhas signed a memorandum with the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation to organize educational workshops on internet safety for children. The company will offer workshops on 3D printing, robotics, and programming. The Digital Factory will host regional app competitions and continue its support for educational institutions, including providing free internet to schools until 2025.

Milovanović concluded by expressing confidence in M:tel’s ability to address future challenges and maintain its leadership in the telecommunications sector.
