In Montenegro, in December, there were 38.42 thousand arrivals and 83.33 thousand overnight stays in collective accommodation, according to preliminary data from Monstat.
“Of the total number of overnight stays in collective accommodation, 75.7 percent were made by foreign tourists, while 24.3 percent were made by domestic tourists,” the statement said.
In the structure of overnight stays by types of tourist places, in November, the majority of overnight stays were recorded in coastal places (65.5 percent), the capital city (22.7 percent), mountainous places (7.8 percent), and other places (4 percent).
Collective accommodation facilities include hotels, guesthouses, motels, tourist villages, resorts, hostels, and campsites, excluding individual, so-called private accommodation – accommodation in houses and rooms for rent, as well as in tourist apartments.
