Imports 5 times higher than exports
, NewsAccording to preliminary data, the total foreign trade of Montenegro for the period from January to September of this year amounted to €3.158bn, which indicates a growth of 48.2% compared to the same period of the previous year, says the Statistical Office MONSTAT.
Exports of goods were worth €520.3m, and imports €2.638bn.
“Compared to the same period of the previous year, exports were higher by 72.2%, and imports were higher by 44.2%”, says MONSTAT, local media reports.
