Banks’ Liquid Assets Reach 1.69 Billion EUR in November

The liquid assets of banks in November of last year amounted to 1.69 billion EUR, which is 2.44% less than in October.

The liquid assets of banks in November of last year were 13.22% lower compared to the same month in 2022.

Liquidity ratios for the banking system as a whole were above the prescribed minimums on a daily and ten-day basis.

The total balance sheet of banks at the end of November amounted to 6.73 billion EUR, showing a decrease of 0.84% compared to October, while on an annual basis, it strengthened by 7.92%.

In the structure of bank assets in November, total loans had a dominant share of 60.7%, followed by cash and deposit accounts with central banks at 18.63%, securities at 19.53%, while 1.14% related to other asset items.

In the liability structure, deposits had a dominant share of 80.92%, followed by capital at 12.13%, loans at 3.37%, while other items accounted for 3.58% of the total liabilities.

The total capital of banks at the end of November was 816.04 million EUR, showing a monthly decline of 1.92% and an annual growth of 25.28%.
